It can be hard to understand why suffering exists at all.

Does anyone notice our pain? Is it just random?

It can feel like there is no higher power looking out for us.
Or perhaps whoever is out there just doesn’t care.
But if you created the world and everyone in it, would you just abandon your creation?
The truth is, the One who created you does care and wants something better for you.
I waited patiently for the Lord to help me, and he turned to me and heard my cry.
He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along.
Psalm 40:1-2

Purpose in your pain

Perhaps the pain that you feel during tough times is the thing that will cause you to dig deep and call out to your Creator for help.
There are things in life that we cannot overcome on our own.
But God is ready to respond to your heart’s cry.
He longs to hear from you!

“In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.”
Jeremiah 29:12-13
